BCAS approval of Security Programme of the Sponsoring Agency/Entity/Organization and copy of educational qualification certificate (Minimum qualification is 10 +2)
Copy of one day AVSEC awareness certificate / AVSEC Induction completion certificate / AVSEC Basic Result sheet / AVSEC Basic Refresher certificate / AVSEC Foundation course certificate.
Copy of appointment letter duly attested by the nominated applicant.
Copy of AEP / TAEP.
Copy of Government issued ID (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN with address proof). If Ex-Servicemen then, copy of Discharge summary of Ex-Servicemen.
Medical Fitness Certificate issued by authorized medical practitioner.
Copy of Background Check Report (Police Verification Certificate (PVC) or Passport (PVC to be issued by concerned Superintendent. Of Police/Commissioner. Passport is valid as Background Check Report for 5 years from the date of issue).
Latest Passport size Photograph in uniform with white background (less than 30 kb each) and signature separately in jpg format (less than 30 kb each) for AVSEC Courses.
Copy of educational qualification certificate (Minimum qualification is 10+2).

An Aviation Security Training Institute under AAI was inaugurated by Sh. S. G. Panicker, RED-SR, in the presence of Sh. C. V. Deepak, APD, Chennai Airport, along with senior officials and other stakeholders on 05th February 2024. All training programs related to Civil Aviation Security under BCAS will now be conducted at the newly inaugurated Institute at Meenambakkam.
